By providing sketched or “penciled” concepts before moving into the execution stage, we have the ability to show our clients what the finished product is going to look like without going too far into production. This allows us to show our clients multiple concept possibilities before shooting photography or completing the design on the computer.
Beginning a design project away from the computer is a philosophy that Arketype Executive Creative Director Jim Rivett has instilled into each designer. Instead of tinkering with Photoshop filters and searching for stock photos, our designers try to start each project by developing something original with their hands and minds. Projects sometimes begin as pencil sketches, hand-brushed paintings, charcoal rubbings, or even crinkled pieces of craft paper. The result is a high-touch look that cannot be duplicated.
