Point of Sale Design  (Back to design services)

get the right consumer reaction in the aisle and at the cash register.

Whether you call it point of purchase, point of sale, POP, POS, or any other variation, in-store marketing is all about the bottom line response from consumers: “I want that now!”

Effective POS or POP design should entice the consumer to buy, sample, or at least consider the product while they are shopping. And since many consumers make purchasing decisions right there in the aisle, effective point-of-purchase sign design is crucial to converting the sale.

At the same time, it’s important to understand that this medium is also about branding. When point of purchase is done right, you can see a balance between brand design and retail punch. The most effective point-of-purchase materials combine strong, persuasive copy messages with an attention-grabbing sign design. Arketype brings both of these elements to every POP design we create.

Our work with Kimberly-Clark brands, like Huggies, Kleenex, Kotex, Cottonelle, and Scott, and other Clients’ brands has given us extensive experience in point-of-sale design and how to do it best. Arketype has created large aisle displays, floor decals, shelf-talkers, coupon dispensers, product samplers, register displays, and other forms of POP used in some of the nation’s largest retail outlets.
