You may think “sustainable design” is just some buzzword used within today’s everything-green culture, but it’s been part of Arketype’s culture for nearly two decades.
We apply sustainability to our design services by creating marketing and advertising materials for our Clients that will perform today and for years to come. We develop sustainable creative pieces by making the right choices in design and materials.
At Arketype, we work to use colors and design elements that reflect the Client’s brand, not the latest trends. We also aim to develop copy messages that are timeless and resonate with multiple target audiences. Our logo design services, sales marketing collateral, and other packaging designs are all created with sustainable graphic design and sustainable creative principles.
Now, this sustainable philosophy doesn’t apply to every media outlet. There are certain instances when a time-sensitive message or reference to pop culture can make a great impact for our Clients. And when that happens, we try to think about sustainable materials.
When Arketype creates direct mail pieces, newsletter campaigns, and other print design projects, we always keep our sustainable creative services in mind. We try to source paper that is made from recycled materials and keep our mailing or product packaging to a minimum. We also try to use eco-friendly inks whenever possible. But the best way to incorporate sustainable design into our Clients’ advertising and marketing programs is to think of sustainable, creative ways to reach the target audience.
For example, instead of sending a printed piece through the mail, we can develop an engaging email campaign. Or instead of distributing hardcopy newsletters, we can create a digital publication. With today’s technology, there are plenty of ways to integrate sustainable design services into the marketing mix. It’s a value-added service that our Clients respect and appreciate.
